Secure your spot today with the retreat fee of $495. Materials for the retreat vary based on canvas selection, but average $100 in addition to canvas cost and will be invoiced prior to your arrival.

The Retreat Experience

Sign up for this class and immerse yourself in a luxury needlework retreat in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Students purchase any Brenda Stofft Design canvas from Stitching Fox at least 5 months prior to the class. Stitching Fox sends the canvases to Brenda so that she has ample time to study, interpret, design, select stitches and threads, and write the guide that will help bring the canvas to life. On the first day of class each student receives a customized stitch and thread guide for the canvas to accompany individualized instruction during class time. Stitchers should have some experience with needlepoint prior to taking the class.

Retreat includes three days (6 hrs/day) of instruction by nationally accredited needlepoint teacher, Brenda Stofft. Class limit: 11 with social distancing.

This 3-day retreat will be on-site at Stitching Fox in Landrum, South Carolina. We are located at 22349 Asheville Hwy., Landrum, SC 29356.

Daily Schedule

  • 9am – Noon     Instruction
  • Noon – 1pm     Catered Lunch
  • 1pm – 4pm       Instruction
  • 4pm – 5pm       Prosecco on the porch

We have partnered with "The Orchard Inn" in Saluda, NC (located 10 mi from Stitching Fox) for a -10% rate.  Mention "Stitching Fox" for the discount.

Additional Costs & FAQ

Retreat fee of $495 per person is due at registration. Class registration fees and materials costs are non-refundable.

Select your Brenda Stofft canvas by March 1, 2024. Browse available selections here. Already have a Brenda Stofft canvas in your stash? For a $70 fee, you may use it in lieu of purchasing a new Brenda Stofft canvas. Please contact us after registering for this retreat to arrange for shipping.

Additional costs include the threads, embellishments, and stitch guide for your chosen canvas, all customized and based on Brenda's selections for you. We'll invoice you for these materials prior to your arrival, and have them ready for you to begin your retreat!

There is a limited cancellation window (48 hours after purchase), beyond which you will still be responsible for the full cost of the kits you committed to when securing your seat for this event. Our full list of event terms and conditions is available here.
