Secure your spot today with the registration fee of $660. Materials for the retreat have an estimated total of $960 for Artemis and/or $1044 for Astrid and will be invoiced prior to your arrival.

The Retreat Experience

Sign up for this class and immerse yourself in a luxury needlework retreat in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. During this 4-day retreat, Brenda Stofft will be teaching us how to make 2 adult rabbits:  Artemis & Astrid. 

These are companion pieces to the 2 baby rabbits in a cart. Artemis & Astrid are exquisite needlepoint works of art. Artemis is the brown rabbit with a basket of stumpwork flowers on his back and the needlepointed elements are stitched on 18ct mono with a variety of threads, beads, and embellishments.  Astrid is the white rabbit carrying a staff with a floral wreath.  You may make either or both rabbits.  Each rabbit kit is sold separately. 

This is an amazing opportunity to take a class with an exceptional teacher. Learn unique needlepoint embellishment techniques. It's a "big look" project that you can start and be well on your way to finishing in 4 days. Brenda makes needle felting, needlepointing, and assembling the rabbits a FUN experience! Wow yourself and your friends by completing this beautiful heirloom keepsake.

This 4-day retreat will be on-site at Stitching Fox in Landrum, South Carolina. We are located at 22349 Asheville Hwy., Landrum, SC 29356.

  • 9am – Noon     Instruction
  • Noon – 1pm     Catered Lunch
  • 1pm – 4pm       Instruction
  • 4pm – 5pm       Prosecco on the porch

We have partnered with "The Orchard Inn" in Saluda, NC (located 10 mi from Stitching Fox) for a -10% rate.  Mention "Stitching Fox" for the discount.

Additional Costs & FAQ

Class fee of $660 per person is due at registration. Class registration fees and materials costs are non-refundable.

Additional costs include the canvas, threads, and stitch guides. We'll invoice you for these materials prior to your arrival, and have them ready for you to begin your retreat!

There is a limited cancellation window (48 hours after purchase), beyond which you will still be responsible for the full cost of the kits you committed to when securing your seat for this event. Our full list of event terms and conditions is available here.
