How To Register

Secure your spot today with the registration fee of $495. Materials for the retreat will vary based on canvas chosen but have an estimated total of $300 and will be invoiced prior to your arrival.

The Retreat Experience

Sign up for this class and immerse yourself in a luxury needlework retreat in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Students purchase any canvas from Stitching Fox at least 5 months prior to the class.

Stitching Fox sends the canvases to Cynthia so that she has ample time to study, interpret, design, select stitches and threads, and write the guide that will help bring the canvas to life. On the first day of class each student receives a customized stitch and thread guide for the canvas to accompany individualized instruction during class time.

Stitchers should have some experience with needlepoint prior to taking the class.

Three days (6 hrs/day) of instruction by nationally accredited needlepoint instructor, Cynthia Thomas.

Lunch included daily. Class limit: 18 with social distancing.

This 3-day retreat will be on-site at Stitching Fox in Landrum, South Carolina. We are located at 22349 Asheville Hwy., Landrum, SC 29356.

  • 9:30am – Noon     Instruction
  • Noon – 1pm          Lunch
  • 1pm – 4:00pm       Instruction

We have partnered with "The Orchard Inn" in Saluda, NC (located 10 mi from Stitching Fox) for a -10% rate.  Mention "Stitching Fox" for the discount.

Additional Costs & FAQ

Class registration fee of $495 per person is due at registration. Class registration fees and materials costs are non-refundable.

Additional costs include the canvas, threads, and stitch guide. We'll invoice you for these materials prior to your arrival, and have them ready for you to begin your retreat!

There is a limited cancellation window (48 hours after purchase), beyond which you will still be responsible for the full cost of the kits you committed to when securing your seat for this event. Our full list of event terms and conditions is available here.
