About Lauren Bloch's GUB Collection:
GUB canvases are a collaboration inspired by original, handmade cards created by Veronica Schmerling. Veronica began to make her cards as therapy following her daughter Liz’s passing from brain cancer in 2005. Veronica has sold her cards for 18 years and has contributed over $75,000 to the Elizabeth S. Schmerling Endowed Scholarship Fund at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. The GUB collection is named after Liz’s favorite stuffed animal, a ladybug named “Gub.” With any canvas purchased in the GUB series, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the scholarship fund. We ship via USPS or UPS. Free U.S. shipping is available for orders that total $75 or more.
