The Beginner 101 class is for new stitchers to needlepoint. Whether you’ve already delved into the world of cross stitch or embroidery or have never picked up a needle and thread, the Beginner 101 class is the perfect place to start.  This is where you learn the building blocks for future classes.  To create your unique small project, this class uses blank 13 mesh count canvas on stretcher bars with tacks and works with single ply thread.  You will be introduced to the “Stitches for Effect” book series.  Topics covered include differentiating the different types of threads, needles, and notions, how to read numbered stitch diagrams, and learning to stitch 6 different stitches. 

Vicky's classes are held on-site at Stitching Fox in Landrum, South Carolina. We are located at 22349 Asheville Hwy., Landrum, SC 29356.

Class fee of $135 per person per session, includes 3 hours of instruction. This class fee includes all materials which will be provided to you at the beginning of class.
